Lies and Fears

Spoken Poetry:

Lies & Fears

One more lie to cover sin.
One more fear to keep within.
Unseen hate to hide the pain.
Unknown reasons, to love what’s vain.

Late night prayer but faith is lost.
A special love – whose heart’s in frost.
One Blue eyed tear, one gathered smile,
one forceful frown, for a little while.

But none of this was ever there,
no love, no hate, no pain, no fear.
And never has there been a sin,
as dreaded as loving the hate within.

And Fate will never give up hope,
And Hearts will never learn to cope.
But in your sins, you do confide
The hell and dreams left in your sighs.
