Dying Light, was actually influenced by the PS4 game of the same name, although there are no samples from the game in the track, the vibe of it (if you have not played it)

Try and imagine fighting "walking dead" type zombies during the day,

Then running for your life at night from "world war z" type zombies.

The anxiety of trying to get back to a safe zone while parkour style running like hell and trying not to look back.

So that's the reason for the uptempo - electro - borderline drum and bass style for the track.
