I have been longing to go on a solo vacation for far too long. I am going to do it this year. It's not that I don't love vacationing with my spouse. Honestly, I'd love to have this time for myself and then have him join me before easing back into parenting.
Ha. "Easing back into parenting." What a misleading statement. Coming back from vacation is always like being dashed with ice water while standing in the snow. A full system shock.
