I noticed a lot of people spending so much time on discord servers, while they can increase their activity on steem blockchain. I think spending all the day on discord servers talking to people there will not help to improve in steem blockchain. We have to create more posts and write more comments here to always have steem the most active blockchain.
A lot of decentralized applications have their terms and conditions and some people joining them think that those are the same rules in steem, but it's not the case. Steem is much bigger than one dapp, every dapp has its rules to use it and it's not related at all with steem but with the developer who created it.
For example I created a project in fundition and they told me that it's not working with their terms and conditions, but the project is related to steem and I don't understand why an app built on steem blockchain doesn't want to support a project related to steem. I wanted to create a movie about steem blockchain to promote it everywhere, but they didn't accept my project. It doens't mean that I will not find supporters in steem who will participate in that.
The same case with utopian, I was translating for them, but to translate one post I spent about a week talking to moderators and editing it a few times to follow their terms and conditions. But in the end I got an upvote about $20, what is much lower price for those translators who are tranlating for any online companies or even for freelancers. That's why I'm not translating for utopian anymore.
Most decentralized applications usually recieve delegations from big whales and the delegation can be undelegated anytime. So think they have to care about their users to not lose that delgation. Already more about 2 millions steem power was undelegated from utopian. And if any app will not care about their users, may lose delegations as well. I hope all the users will know that and start to read their terms and defend their rights as a steem user who trusted his key to an app.
So, it's better to control our activity in disord servers and decentlized applications to grow faster and improve here in steem blockchain but not somewhere else. Those apps can always change their rules, but steem is an ecosystem and I don't think the team will change the rules completely.
