Steemit Open Mic Week 48 - "A Plea To The Artists" (Original Song)

The inspiration for this song was from a poem written by my good friend Scott Bonadonna, which I heard music in and he let me add a few lyrics to it, to create this ♥♥♥ ♥♥♥ A Plea To The Artists...

Lyrics

Fine tuned skills so quickly lose,
While waiting on tomorrow's muse
The fiddle, the riddle, the kettle drum,
The softened touch of the painter's thumb
The passion, abstraction, the drive and pep,
The precise placement of the dancer's step
Blind mind to the eye, all unravel and fray,
The creeping slowness of withering decay

My words are a plea to the artist,
Disturb apathy, destroy apathy
My words are a plea to the artist,
Signed Mel
PS: The post script, this poem does not end
For the words of the singer and the message to send,
Words of the singer and the message to send

Twisted silver on stone,
Copied poems of the past
Carved pieces of wood,
Coloured gardens and glass

Sculptured statues flesh in stone,
Of conception and form
Photographs of life,
Captured brilliance as it's born

Chorus

Ink on paper, notes in the air,
Words to the winds with emotion and care
Everyone's song is their own unique love affair,
Art expresses us, the kindness and despair

Chorus

If you are a musician you really have to give the Open Mic a try, especially if you have originals that you have written. @PFunk is kind enough to reward original musicians, and if you're like me, it's the first time you've earned crypto from your original tracks!
