No Streemian = No RSS Feed! Now What?
About a month ago, I posted an article here on SteemIt in which I discussed the power of your SteemIt RSS feed URL. In this article I showed you where to find your RSS feed URL and how you could turn it into a very valuable asset.

Back then it was easy: your RSS feed URL was provided by the Streemian service. You only had to copy it and add your username and you were ready to go.
Unfortunately that has changed. When you visit the Streemian website, the bad news is right in your face:
Due to changes in the publicly served API end-point and the lack of development resources, the Streemian platform is currently degraded.
This means that all the valuable services that were provided by Streemian are gone - including your RSS feed URL.
The Power Of Your RSS Feed URL
On this platform you earn money when people upvote your posts or comments. This means that you need to get the word out about your posts and get as much exposure as you can get. There are many ways to drive traffic to your SteemIt posts, but only few are as powerful as your RSS feed URL.
An RSS feed has a very wide range of possible uses, and all are based on the most valuable power there is online: AUTOMATION
Just to give you some examples: with your RSS feed URL you can send out newsletters or push notifications on complete autopilot, you can add self-updating widgets or pages to your website, you can even build a completely automated website that updates itself whenever you make a new post here on SteemIt.
Also, you can submit your RSS feed to RSS feed directories and use it to create backlinks, which both improve your Google ranking.

The Easy Way Out
With Streemian being out, I simply had to find another way to create an RSS feed URL for my SteemIt blog, so I could keep sharing my posts on all my social media profiles and do all the other stuff I was doing before.
Fortunately, it ddn't take me very long to find a way that enabled me to generate my RSS feed URL, without having to rely on the Streemian website. And the best part was, that it was actually pretty easy to get it done.
In this video, I'll show you how you can create your own RSS feed URL quickly and easy - even if you have no technical knowledge -, how to streamline your RSS Feed using Google's Feedburner service, and how to set up a completely automated system that will bring in more viewers, more followers and more upvotes.
Don't worry, it is so easy, even a newbie can do it.
Although the result is not as complete and perfect as it used to be, it'll do the trick while we wait for Streemian to get back up.
