I'm posting this next DTube video a bit early so I can get a few tips out on what to expect and have ready when you post yours.
The first thing I have to do is thank @valorforfreedom his post here: How to Add a Play Button to Your DTube Thumbnail
It was invaluable to me late last night while trying to make a play button.
Because of @valorforfreedom's post, I knew that the "Snap" needed to be 800x460 resolution (the size of the thumbnail). Knowing the size saved me time and frustration when I took the "Snap" into Paint and made a simple play button because I could not find a free one to use.
Now a few more tips:
Turn your recording device sideways!
Have your post ready to go with your video! Yes! as soon as you upload your DTube video it puts it in your Steemit.com feed! You are going to copy and paste your post into the Description panel.
There is an edit button in Dtube but you will be editing from a very small window so for me it would be easier to do it first in a document that I can see!
That is where I'm going to leave this right now but with those 3 bits of information, it should help you at least know what to expect so you are not like me and freak out when your video is already in your feed! LOLL
