We're back in Redmond for the time being! Gotta say, the descent on that little airplane was one of the most painful in my life, with the pressure on my eardrums causing stabbing pain all the way down my neck and through my shoulders. Two days later, I still can't hear very well out of my right ear but I am now able to turn my head without pain. Definitely going to take a decongestant the next time I fly with a cold, and start equalizing earlier.
It was all worth it because I got the usual beautiful window view of the sun's first light over the mountains and lakes and city and sound that always gives me the warm fuzzies and reminds me how much I love the Seattle area.
We're surrounded by all the comforts of home again. Walks to the library. Grocery shopping. Starting Planet Earth II on Netflix. And so many frustrating bugs to fix. Oh my god. That's what I should be working on right now, but I decided to take a Steemit break.
Welcome to that long stretch of winter that always seems to fly by with little to mark it. Not too much on the calendar in the near future - some get-togethers with friends and flying to see my family next weekend, but after that.... ???? I'm looking forward to setting up some new adventures. And stay tuned for a post about my plans for my Steemit time. How are YOU excited to spend your days this 2018?
