Earlier today I noticed John had put a male muscovy duck, not the one shown, in our just filled by the rain pool. Since it doesn't have chlorine or anything harmful it was likely safe and there was plenty of stuff growing in it for them to eat.
The pecking duck is a water loving duck so we put him in too and he had the most fun. He refused to get out even when he was tired, although we made him after a few hours of floating, snacking and fun.
