The Wikipedia list of Weird Stuff

I love education YouTube channels and Wikipedia. Been a fan of most of them for a decade now.

One of my favorite newcomers (1-year-olds) is Wendover Productions and Real engineering.

The now duo has a podcast called Showmakers on iTunes. Where they interview some of the established Big players in this space. Picking their brains to obtain

As a side note. I find disturbing that I listened to an episode in my iTunes. Paused midway and then after a couple hours in my pc opened the episode in YouTube and there it was. At the same point, I had paused it in my iPhone!

Well, they some times borrow inspiration from an interesting place. Wikipedia. Not any place in Wikipedia. The Wikipedia list of weird articles. 1

This one is of my favorites. "Vampire Numbers"

Integers with real bite.
They are numbers with an even number of digits, That have two parents like 27 and 81 and when multiplied give you 2187. The same digits just scrambled. 2

Life is more interesting than fiction, in there can only be compared to the Ig Nobel prizes.
In case you don't know they are awarded to discoveries in the sciences that first make us laugh then make us think.

Of course, their channels are full of actual. Content that is not to laugh. This is just some of the stuff they sometimes borrow from.

I do sincerely recommend them both to you. If you have some time to spare.
