We are here to share the training activities of @WomenEmpowerment last few days. We wish if we could share the project activities every day. But hope your support will encourage us to do so near future.
Women Empowerment was founded by Mohammed Abdul Aziz on 7 January 2017 to train underprivileged women and support them by creating job opportunities.
The above dress was made by Anik's mother. She made it by hand sewing at home. We feel so happy for her hardworking and quality work.
During Ramadhan, we minimized the hour of the training class. @WomenEmpowerment received another donation of 15 SBD from A dollar A day charity giving project run by @pennsif. Last 30 SBD will be used to but overlock machine after Ramadhan. And it will cost around 110 USD. We also can buy manual one which will cost around 70 USD. We will already have 30 SBD as the fund to buy the overlock machine and will have to deduct the transaction cost from this fund. I am so excited about the new shop. It was so amazing to have support from @cryptocurator, @deliberator, @goldendawne, @mother2chicks @steevc & witnesses @aggroed, @quochuy & @steemcommunity to continue our training and supporting #ADollarADay project.
@WomenEmpowerment started its journey on 7 January 2017 by focusing on Sustainable Development Goal 5 which is "Gender Equality and Women Empowerment ". The social venture aim is to train underprivileged women in slum areas and let them work with the venture long term as employees.
The development of the venture will help to create employment for these women. We already bought a sewing machine with help of steemians. The machine helps them to get training more effectively. And we are going to buy an overlock machine too which will be sponsored by #ADollarADay project.
