Well... I was thinking what to post here then I remembered I took a picture of my DVD box set of Scrubs for another blog and so I will write about my favorite American TV Shows of different genres. 😊
Let's start! 🎉
Scrubs
So of course the first one I will talk about is the sitcom Scrubs which I have the first four DVD seasons in a box set. Haha. ❤
I got it from a garage sale at a very cheap price. Like P100 or less I think. Even if I only have just 4 seasons, I was able to watch every episode until the 9th slightly crappy season.
The reason I like this is because it is fun and has some fantasy or supernatural elements sometimes, while it also shows us how each character deals with issues about life and death.
Oh and the music/soundtrack is amazing. They have musical episodes too you know. Such fun.
Aside from laughing and enjoying each episode, some also made me cry, like oh how heartbreaking it was when Brendan Fraser's character died. Booohoooo. 😭
Also, nevermind about the 8 season on-off relationship of medical interns turned doctors JD and Elliot. 😂 As long as ol' mean Dr. Cox is around I will watch it again and again.
Alias
Oh bebeh. For me this is the best spy TV series of all time. I got DVD copies of all the 5 seasons and boy I still love rewatching this from time to time.
Imagine being a spy and being able to change costumes/clothes and fly and go to places, like different countries, without having to worry about IDs, Visas, accommodation and such. Wow right? Totally fun to watch.
All those finding stuff and retrieving them sounds fun until your life gets in danger. I wouldn't want to be in her shoes because it's dangerous but can summady teach me kung fu? 😂😂😂
Oh and Bradley Cooper is such a cutie that I used to watch it just to see his character with Jennifer Garner's character. 😄
Battlestar Galactica (Reimagined version)
Heck, this is better than Star Trek! Although I like Star Trek too, BSG is #1 in my heart. 😍
Only 6 or 7 people in this pic are human. Haha!
Talk about frakking robots. Whew. Skin jobs as they call 'em are looking more and more like humans in their world. Best sci fi TV series EVER.
The reason I love this series is because it's kinda blasphemous but not in a bad way. It's so deliciously fantastic how they try and look for Earth and oh, shall I spoil it more for you?
I mean it's also got some steamy scenes going on, like (sings) Kara and Apollo sitting in a tree, K I S S I N G. Lol.
I've seen every single episode of this one, even the webisodes. It's only got 4 seasons but each episode is worth watching. The finale is kinda weird but overall it's still awesome. 🎉
Community
Last but not the least is this cerebrally funny Community sitcom. Heck even if it only had 5 seasons it would have been okay but they just had to do six seasons (and a movie soon!) so they did get a sixth season.
I didn't like their last season, I think season 4 was better than that, because it's not as funny as the first five. But I still love this series for the pop culture rich episodes and fun things they do. I mean sometimes I don't even get why I'm laughing! I just laugh from watching the wacky things they do. 😂 Crazy people.
Plus I love the opening sequence doodle. I wasn't even into doodling and pen drawing when I first watched this series but heck I was hooked by it. Best show for geeks! ❤
So there you have it. No new series though because I'm too busy working nowadays plus I keep blogging so I just watch old shows I haven't finished when I get the chance... Like an anime series I previously wrote and drew about and such.
Anyway so what about you? Do you like my list too? Let me know in the comments. 👍
