Greetings steemians and crypto enthusiasts! Today I am proud to announce the beta launch of our latest project, Eostalk.io! Adapted from the chainbb forums developed by @jesta, eostalk.io will most likely eventually run on the Eos platform when that goes live. However, we want to make sure we can add all kinds of cool features and hammer out all the bugs before then so we are running our beta phase on the steem blockchain. That means that you, my fellow steemians, already have everything you need to begin using our new platform for all your eos-related discussions.
To use the site just log in with your steem username and private posting key. To get your private posting key navigate to your wallet and click on the permissions tab. Click the button to show private key on the right side of the top option and copy that to paste into eostalk.io. The private posting key is required for you to post, comment, and vote from eostalk.io but we don't require your private active key that would give someone permission to access your account funds so you know that your funds are safe. That's it, you are now ready to begin posting and participating in the discussions on eostalk.io.
We really think you'll enjoy the new platform designed forum-style to easily interact with the other people in the community. Since it will be posted to the Steem blockchain you will still earn post rewards, curation rewards, and everything else and all of the cool services already developed for the Steem blockchain such as Whaleshares will work the same. We're also busy developing new features that will make eostalk.io the coolest forum in the crypto community.
The Contest
As you know, we love contests. So, we thought what better way to introduce people to our newest project than with a contest for whaleshares? To enter, log in to eostalk.io and make a post telling us what you like about the new platform. Then, post a comment on this post with a link to your post. Every participant will receive 10 whaleshares and one lucky winner will get a 40 whaleshare bonus!
