Key points from the EOS announcement in South Korea a few minutes ago:
Everipedia (blockchain based decentralized encyclopedia) is partnering with EOS completely. They're not only building on EOS but are sharedropping their tokens 100% on the EOS distribution.
Over $1.1 billion has been raised so far, and block.one has committed to reinvest at least $1 billion of that back into the EOS development community through venture capital partners to build out the EOS ecosystem.
Richard Jung, formerly CEO of Bitthumb, is joining the block.one team.
