My orange cat had been too active in the evening as she started to run very fast all over the garden. She went up the Cork tree in the north side of the garden. All the other cats were looking at her trying to decide what to do. Other cats dared not climb trees as high as this orange cat. She seemed to enjoy the views from the top of the tree.
I tried to tell her yo come down as it was getting dark. If she got stuck up there, it would be very difficult for me to help her down. The ladder would not teach that height! But she just ignored me and continued to look very cool up there. I did warn her that I would not be able to help her down and she would have spend the night alone.
All of a sudden, Snow wanted my attention and he showed me that he could climb up there too. Snow did climb up to the orange cat and got slapped in his face twice. Snow got chased down the tree but the orange cat got stuck on the tree for twenty minutes. After her call fir help, I had to use the ladder to try to reach her. She was too high up do I could not bring her down with me. But I could pull her legs and body through some small branches, then she knew that’s the opening through which she could climb down.
สุดสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา แมวส้มมีพลังเหลือเฟือ มันวิ่งแข่งไปทั่วสวนด้วยความคึก แล้วก็ปีนต้นไม้ที่หน้าบ้านจนเกือบถึงยอด ตอนนั้นอากาศเริ่มครึ้มและพระอาทิตย์ได้ตกไปแล้ว เราก็บอกให้มันลงมาจากต้นไม้ เพราะแสงไม่พอทำให้เราขึ้นไปช่วยไม่ได้ เรายืนเรียกมันนานมากจนแมวตัวอื่นมาดูว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น แมวส้มก็ไม่สนใจยืนมองดูวิวไปเรื่อย เจ้าแมวขาวชื่อสโนว์อยากได้รับความสนใจบ้าง ก็แสดงให้เราเห็นว่ามันก็ปีนต้นไม้ได้เหมือนกัน สโนว์ทำให้เราแปลกใจที่มันอ้วนที่สุดในบ้าน แต่ก็สามารถปีนขึ้นไปหาแมวส้มได้ แล้วมันก็โดน แมวส้มทั้งขู่และตบหน้ามาสองที ทำให้สโนว์ต้องถอยร่นลงมา เราดีใจที่มันไม่สู้กลับ เพราะแมวส้มตัวเล็กกว่ามาก มันคงต้องแพ้และเสียหน้ามากแน่นอน
เราคอยให้แมวส้มลงมาจากต้นไม้เกือบยี่สิบนาที ดูแล้วมันไม้กล้าลงมา และส่งเสียงร้องให้ช่วย เราจึงต้องไปเอาบันไดมากางข้างต้นไม้ แต่แมวอยู่สูงเกินไป เราไม่สามารถไปอุ้มมันลงมาเหมือนเมื่อก่อนได้ แต่เราพยายามดึงขามัน เพื่อให้ตัวมันแหวกกิ่งไม้มาได้ พอมันได้ช่องที่ตัวมันลอดลงมาได้ มันก็เริ้มกลับลำตัว แล้วเอาด้านหางลง คือถอยหลังลง ไม่ได้เอาทางหัวลงมา ทำให้มันควบคุมการลงจากต้นไม้ได้ แมวส้มตัวนี้มันแสนรู้มาก ว่าเราพยายามช่วยมันอยู่ มันจะไม่กางเล็บใส่เราเลย เพื่อไม่ให้เราบาดเจ็บ มันไว้ใจเรามากจริงๆ แต่มันปีนต้นไม้สูงเกินไปแล้ว
