Steemians Casual Meetup

Last night we had yet another meetup with Steemians at JL Kivatu Cafe. Since it was just a casual meetup, I was expecting only few friends to turn up. Turns out there were 21 Steemians turn up to the meetup. This is what I love about Steemit...strangers become friends. I love the fact that Steemit is spreading among so many creative Steemians!

This time, we were so lucky to have our very own Steem Witness, @bitrocker2020 come and meet all the Steemians that attended the meetup. We took the opportunity to get to know him better and learned few things about Steemit.

And of course, the meetup would be meaningless without our two Steem Ambassador @danieldoughty and @veenang. These two sifu provided us with great info and tips about Steemhunt, Byteball, Steempress and exciting current and future news about Steemit.

During the meetup we shared, joked and exchanged new updates and experiences on Steemit. There were two new faces at yesterday's meetup, unfortunately I didn't managed to get their user names. Hope to meet them again on the next meetup. It's great to finally meet @papanog @davidngtv and @srapDsign for the first time.

Exciting News

@bitrocker2020 and @danieldoughty announced some exciting news happening soon:-

1. Borneo Blockchain Summit (7, 8 & 9 September 2018)

• to be held at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) on the 7th, 8th & 9th September 2018. -
• This is a collaboration effort between Steem Malaysia and Bitcoin Malaysia to introduce and educate more people about the Blockchain.
• Sabahan Steemian can either volunteer or pay to join the event.

2. STEEM Fest 3 will be held on the 7 to 11 November 2018, at Krakow, Poland.

3. Byteball is giving an airdrop for all Steemian.

• it can be exchanged in Bitrex. @bitrocker2020 will do a tutorial on this soon. Thank you Sifu.. Can't wait for it!

Something New

It was kind of @bboyady to teach us about Steempress and Wordpress. He even help us how to register to Steempress step by step. Unfortunately, his handphone blackout...LOL. He promised us to do a tutorial on Steempress. Thank you @bboy ady.

Next Meetup

@zamifara has invited all fellow Steemians to her house for Hari Raya on the 22nd August, 2018. This will be our next meetup with great food yeah!
