Winter flowers

Happy Friday, my friend!

Okay, winter is still here, but we all can feel a breath of spring. Besides, I see a wonderful sunny day behind the window, and today I'd like to share some winter memories.

Here in Ukraine, we have blizzards in January, and frost till -20 in February. But somewhere Jan looks and feels just like a start of new life circle, and it is not a tropical country at all.

These two pictures were captured in January 2018. It is Salerno (Italy), I'd say a Median. And look how big and colorful are crocuses!

By the way, do you know that crocus were called a "Moon Flower" because its vegetation depends on the moon phase?

And these two are from Florence (North of Italy), also taken in January. The are obviously smaller and more pale. But even so, it's very unusual - flowers in January for a traveler from Ukraine :)

What is this about? I just want to make you feel better today!

See you soon,
@zirochka
