Wedding Day

For @jayna's Fiftywords challenge the prompt is pumpkin. Here is my entry.

THE WEDDING

The Emcee called for their dance. Lanie was nervous. It was her wedding day reception. She walked to the middle of the ballroom with her dad. They danced to their theme song. Tears rolled down her eyes when he whispered in her ears “You will always be my pumpkin forever.”
