Well, there were no descriptions of the subjects provided by the media either...it happened at a rap concert...and police noted a relation to gang related crime

We do NOT believe this incident was an active shooter or terror related incident. It appears to have been a dispute at a concert.
so no concern about lyrics in rap and violent crime, eh?
no ginned up media outrage about gangs?
...and no concern for the black victims of violent crime from gang activity.

I don't think that the term "black crime" is the right way to discuss crime committed by criminals that are black
I really dislike the term “black crime”. It is pejorative to all the upper-class, middle-class, and poor people working 2 or 3 jobs a day that share nothing more with some criminals than skin color.
