Happy 1st Birthday Maddy!
Not many people can say their first birthday was celebrated on the blockchain. Little Madison Hazel is one of the few. She turned 1 yesterday on 11/11 (a very cool birth date). Her mom and dad ( @cjagoe and @robjagoe ) put together an extravagant birthday party, it was so great I thought @roelandp had something to do with it. The party was at Madison's Great-Grandparents house! Here are some pictures from her big day.
The Food
@cjagoe went all out for this one. Most of the food was catered by Napoli Deli but the dessert selection was made by Cassie and my mom.

There were cold cut sandwiches, ranging from turkey, roast beef and italian combos to tuna and veggie selections. The hot catered food consisted of meatballs, sausage and peppers and pasta. Everything was delicious.
The Desserts
This table had my name written all over it. The white chocolate dipped Oreo's are my absolute favorite, I probably had 8 of them. The cupcakes were all specialty, some were Cannoli stuffed, others were chocolate decadent. But the biggest hit of all was my mom's chocolate chip cookies in the middle of the table.
Madison by the Months
This board was sitting over the fireplace. It had many pictures of Madison throughout the year. On the mantle was a timeline with a picture of Madison from each month of her first year. It's crazy to see how much she's grown. Now she's running around all over the place and hard to keep an eye on!
Gifts for Maddy
Of course Uncle Jeffrey got her something really cool. Whenever Madison hears music she bangs her hands like she's playing the drums. I got her a 7 piece instrument set that included a little bongo, tambourine, maracas and guitar. Obviously she is too young to play a guitar but I bet she will have a lot of fun making noise with the percussion instruments... and I bet @cjagoe and @robjagoe will love all the noise too!
Madison's favorite gift of all was this roll of toilet paper from her Great-Uncle Rich. Toilet Paper is Maddy's favorite past time. One roll will keep her amused for hours. I hope someday she will become this fascinated with the musical instruments that I got her...
Cake Time!
As you can see in the photo below, Maddy was very excited to see a cake coming her way. She didn't know what to do when it came to the candle so she needed some assistance with that. Once the flame went out she dove right in! After eating nothing but breast milk and mushed veggies her whole life I imagine a cake must have been heavenly.
YUMMMMMMM!
Happy First Birthday Madison Hazel!
Many Awesome Years to Come!
