Paint - the sole word on my shopping list. My children weasel into the cart.
My eyes glance to the left. Sigh. My favorite season overshadowed by man’s traditions. Must every store sell Halloween decoration?
Maybe they won’t take notice. Unavoidably, my daughter asks, “Mommy, what’s that?”
“It’s a witch, dear.”
Fall is by far my favorite season. The warm color tones, the scents, the scenery. It just can’t be beat. And then there’s Halloween. I’ve never been a fan of it. I never understood the fascination of purposely scaring oneself. No thank you.
This is my first try at the fifty word challenge hosted by @jayna. It was a little harder than I thought. I read some really great entries and mine seems amateur at best!
