Do NOT elevate... Step on it instead (my 2nd post)


I was at Nanyang Polytechnic yesterday evening attending a talk. Adjacent to the lecture theatre, there is this flight of stairs which caught my eyes; an ordinary flight of stairs there has been there for years but it was the colours that caught my attention.  A closer look and you’ll see the story: 

  1. Burn calories  
  2. Take the stairs 
  3. About 5 calorie burnt per floor  
  4. Based on 0.17kcal per step, their 30 steps work out to be 5.1kcal
