I walked down the stairs, gently, so I wouldn't spill the hot coffee i had in my hand, I made my way into my slightly oversized study, there wasn't enough stuff to fill the study since all I really needed was my computer.

I sat in front of my computer to start typing, I was writing a new book about an actual haunted house, I'd spent the previous month snooping around the house, you know, to get more information, (I have a thing for the weird and supernatural). After about a month of snooping, I found out that the previous occupant of the house drowned in a bath tub (funny right), some people believe she was murdered, some think she committed suicide, the house has been abandoned since her death, although the neighbors said at times they'd hear weird noises coming from the house, sometimes they'd even see a figure moving around.

I went into the house a few times, each time scarier than the last, there's was a time I saw her reflection in the mirror and she yelled "get out"(she looked pale and dead in the eye, I on the other hand was very obedient). That was my last time in the house, I'd already gotten all the information I needed anyway.

So...yeah, I was typing, I was as excited as a puppy, I'd never had anything that juicy to write about, it was going well until my computer went off, I figured it was out of battery, so I got up to plug it in, only to find out it was already plugged in, is it faulty or broken...I started to panick....all my work, where do I start from, this is why I use typewriters, get a computer they said, it's faster they said, I was about to angrily hit the computer when it came back on, but when it did, I wished it had remained dead.

The room suddenly felt chill, I could literally see my breath, I had goosebumps all over my body, then the lights went off, all I could see was my computer screen and the face of the dead woman that dominated it, a tear rolled down my left cheek, it was a combination of fear and more fear, as if it wasn't already bad enough, my keyboard started to type on its own, right before my eyes, click! click!..every strike of the keyboard struck fear in my heart.

Words started to appear on the screen and it read H E L P. M E. C A N T. B R E A T H E.
She didn't look scary, she just looked helpless, and so did I, cause I just stood there like a pillar of salt, the keyboard continued to type and after a while, her facial expression started to change, she was getting angry, I could feel it, the entire room was starting to shake and now I could actually hear her yelling "HELP ME".

I suddenly felt my leg getting wet, I looked down and I realized the room was getting filled with water, I ran to the door but it was locked, in the blink of an eye, the water had reached my neck, the last thing I heard before I was completely covered by the water was her helpless voice again crying for help when I was the one who needed help. I was completely submerged in the water, there was no way out, the computer screen was still on and I saw her smile as I struggled and slowly lost all the oxygen in my body, I was starting to feel feint, her smile grew wider as my eyes slowly went shut.
