Green Smoothie of the Day: Tropical Ginger Lassi

Good morning (or night) fellow steempunks! Every new day I feel so blessed to be able to live in this beautiful country and be part of the loving steemit community. You guys rock!

But let's talk smoothies and cats on this beautiful tropical, sunny morning.

Ingredients

1.5 cup bok choy
1/2 cup Tulsi or holy basil
1.5 cup papaya chunks
1 cup mango chunks
1 banana
1/2 cup plain unsweetened coconut yogurt
Fresh ginger to taste
2 cups water

Directions

  1. Blend bok choy, tulsi, and water until smooth. Add the remaining ingredients and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick for you, add more liquid base. If you have a high-speed blender you can blend everything at once.
  2. Optional: top with toppings/superfoods of your choice (chia seeds, desiccated coconut, hemp hearts etc.)

Always funny to see how the neighbor's cats are also interested in what I'm doing in the kitchen... or is it my beautiful Chivas they are after? Probably they are! She looks so different than the Cambodian cats... so prob they are still figuring out what species lives next door. How many cats can you spot in this picture?
