Good morning steemit! If you have been following my blog a little then you may have noticed I use hemp hearts a lot in my morning drinks! Hemp Seeds are a gift of nature. Though there are many seeds that boast the superfood status, only a few tastes as fantastic as hemp hearts do. I just love their nutty and sweet flavor that best can be compared with pine nuts
Hemp hearts are among the most nutritious seeds in the world. They have the most concentrated balance of proteins, essential fats (Omega-3s), vitamins and enzymes.
Hemp hearts (aka hulled hemp seeds) belong to the genus Cannabis sativa and have been cultivated for thousands of years as a source of fiber, edible seeds, edible oil, lubricant, and as fuel.

HEMP-INFUSED PROBIOTIC CARROT LASSI
INGREDIENTS (SERVES 2 FOR BREAKFAST)
1/2 avocado
1 big carrot
3 passionfruit
1 mango
1 cup papaya
Fresh mint leaves to taste
Freshly grated ginger to taste
1/2 cup homemade cultured coconut yogurt
Water as needed
2 tbsp hemp hearts
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add more water if the smoothie is to thick for you.
- Top with extra hemp hearts or other superfoods/topping you like.
