We’ve had a lot of snow and cold weather across many areas of the United States this week so I thought I would share a little heat!
So come long Steemians, have a taste of my....
Fire up for Friday Chili!
You will need:
1 lb organic ground turkey
(3) 14 oz minced organic tomatoes
(2) 14 oz cans organic black beans
(1) 14 oz can organic Chick Pea garbanzo beans
3 stalks celery
2 cloves fresh garlic
1 onion
2 Tablespoons chili powder (or more to taste)
1 teaspoon Chipotle powder
Salt and Pepper to taste.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Serves 6
Preparation:
Chop onion and Celery and garlic. Saute onions in olive oil. When translucent add minced garlic. Saute a couple of minutes. Add ground turkey to pan and cook until turkey is cooked. Sprinkle 1 Tablespoon chili powder to turkey and stir.
In a separate saucepan add Tomatoes, beans, chick peas and balance of spices.
Add turkey to saucepan. Simmer for 1 hour
MMMMM....can't you smell it!
Voila! There you have it, nice and hot!
