My entry for STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #49- Cakes and pies
PEAR CHEESECAKE
INGREDIENTS:
250 g of spelt flour
125 g of coconut butter
60 g of honey
1 egg
1 egg yolk
a pinch of salt
500 g of cheese curd
200 g of yogurt
100 g of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 egg
1 egg white
1 mandarin
a tablespoon of flour
3 pears
Combine ingredients (spelt flour, coconut butter, salt, honey, 1 egg and 1 egg yolk) in a bowl. Knead the dough with your hands. Wrap it in a stretch foil and store it in a refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Take the dough out of the refrigerator and place the 2/3 of dough on the bottom of the baking tray.
In another bowl combine cheese curd, yogurt, honey, a teaspoon of cinnamon, egg, egg white and juice of one mandarin and add a tablespoon of spelt flour. Pour the mixture over the dough.
Cut pears on slices and place them on the top of the pie.
Use models for cookies and make a decoration.
Bake it for 45 mintes on 180 °C.
