BBQ Lamb Kebab in the weekend

This is a classical Chinese style lamb kebab I have been craving it for one year, I did it last year but hadn't recorded it.

Ingredients:

Salt

Zi Ran(孜然): this might only be purchased from Asian shops.
Chili Pepper powder
BBQ chop or loin chops ( tender, fit for little kids )

Fire lighter
BBQ briquette
Some newspaper
Self-made BBQ chimney
Matches or electrical lighter
BBQ Buddy Long Locking Tongs
BBQ kettle with Cooking grid
Bamboo skewers

BBQ chimney can also be bought from Amazon at a cheap price here.

Preparations:

Tuck some useless newspaper into the bottom of self-made BBQ chimney, then stack it onto a grid; put 5-8 alcoholic blocks( Fire lighter ) and pour briquettes, mix them together; ignite from the bottom using matches or electrical lighter then wait for about 20 mins until most of the beads inside get burned.

Pour all the beads into the BBQ kettle and covered with grid.

If you give a child to eat, use Loin chop, tender and easy to chew. If adults to eat, I'd half shoulder / bbq chop half loin chop mixed grilled meat ribs national feeling, delicious.

DON’T marinate or soak the meat into water, just rinse it to make it clean.

Cut the meat into small pieces, and then pierce them up with the bamboo skewers.

There is a tip here: put the piece of meat in the cooking pad and then pierce it with a skewer, then upside down the skewer and pull the piece of meat to near the end of the stick, in this way, you won’t hurt your fingers.

Grilled one side, sprinkle salt, zi ran powder;

Then bake another side, sprinkle salt, zi ran powder;

How long to grill depends on your favor.

Finally, sprinkle pepper ...
