Our little princess Melissa had a birthday. And of course there was a birthday cake.
I decided to bake a cake with a unicorn.
Unsere kleine Prinzessin Melissa hatte Geburtstag. Und da musste natürlich ein Geburtstagskuchen her.
Ich entschloss mich, einen Kuchen mit einem Einhorn drauf zu backen.
White rollfondant had to, so fast to the supermarket and a pack bought. The unicorn was more difficult to knead than I imagined.
Weisses Rollfondant musste her, also schnell zum Supermarkt und eine Packung gekauft. Das Einhorn war schwieriger zu kneten , als ich es mir vorgestellt habe.
The unicorn was ready and now, of course, as it is for a unicorn, still glitter. I still had the edible gold. Eyes are made of chocolate.
Das Einhorn war fertig und jetzt brauchte ,es natürlich wie es sich für ein Einhorn gehört, noch Glitzer. Das essbare Gold hatte ich noch da. Augen sind aus Schokolade.
After finishing the unicorn, I had to make the cake. My kitchen looked like this. OH GOD, what a mess.
Nachdem ich das Einhorn fertiggestellt hatte, musste ich noch den Kuchen machen. So sah meine Küche danach aus. OH GOTT , was für ein Chaos.
I then poured the cake over with chocolate and punched out of the remaining sugar from the unicorns.
Den Kuchen habe ich dann, mit Schokolade übergossen und aus der übrigen Zuckermasse von dem Einhorn Blüten ausgestochen.
When Melissa, on her birthday, stood up, the joy of the cake was huge:
Als Melissa, an ihrem Geburtstag aufgestanden ist, war die Freude über den Kuchen riesengross.
And for that, the trouble has paid off, the next time my unicorn will be somewhat slimmer.
