Here are 3 simple ways to make The TAHINI SAUCE!
A gluten free, vegan, healthy and tasty sauce / dip!
Tahini is a dense paste made from crushed sesame seeds. The Tahini sauce is a mixture of Tahini paste, lemon juice, garlic, salt and water. It accompanies many Middle Eastern dishes such as hummus, falafel, shakshuka and many more! It can be great as a dip for veggies, a salad dressing or simply as a spread on bread or in a pita bread!
3 SIMPLE WAYS TO MAKE YOUR HOMEMADE TAHINI SAUCE @Cooknbake:
1 cup tahini (sesame seed paste)
¾ cup cold water
2-3 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup fresh lemon juice, or more to taste
½ tsp salt, or more to taste
For garnish:
A sprinkle of paprika / a few drops of olive oil / fresh parsley leaves/chopped
Method:
For garnish: Add a few fresh Parsley leaves and add a sprinkle of ground Paprika:
Serve immediately or place in a sealed container and refrigerate.
Note: If you like your Tahini more liquidy, you can add more water or lemon juice. For a thicker consistency, add more Tahini paste or less water. add more lemon juice or salt, if desired.
FOR TAHINI SAUCE with chopped parsley :
Add a handful of chopped fresh parsley leaves and mix in the Tahini sauce
For garnish: Add a few drops of olive oil and a few fresh parsley leaves
FOR RED TAHINI SAUCE:
Add ¾ tablespoon ground paprika to the Tehina sauce and mix until combined
and ENJOY!!!
