I am sure the purpose of this post is very clear ... So I won't repeat it again. The point is ... to share the deliciousness that is absolutely absent in a far far away boring city in Eu... thread...no,... Eu... string? ... No, Oh, yeah, EuRope... or whatever... of a classical globally renowned Southeast Asian cuisine - the Hainan Chicken Rice!!!
The Ching Cheng Hoinan Chicken Rice that is described by a TripAdvisor comment as "the best Hainan Chicken Rice in the world" while ranking 228th best restaurant among 13,249 restaurants in the Taipei city.
Of course it is delicious. But world's 1st? Well, I cannot say that as I had way better HCR else where like in Singapore where the cuisine marks its name with. But it is absolutely great in Taipei, maybe still not the best in terms of absolute quality, but definitely #1 in terms of C/P value.
One HCR only costs you NT90 ($3) and NT115($4) respectively for a simpler plate (basically chicken and rice only) or a complete plate (with some side dishes). How cheap is it for a really great and quality classic Asian dish?
Tonight was raining a little bit in Taipei and it certainly cannot quench people's desire to taste a bite of HCR. Us neither. We are glad they processed the queue rather quickly and we got ourselves a nice seat! Enjoy it with us! Cheers!
有人在遙遠的里斯本歡樂中，我們可不能示弱，所以週五下班就去吃了台北最有名的『慶城海南雞飯』！哼！好吃得很，我們也很愉快，歐洲那裡有這麼好吃的亞洲美食啊！羨慕吧！（好弱是嗎？嗚嗚嗚～～～我也要去啦！）
今夜台北小雨，澆不熄我們追美食的決心！當然啦，論海南雞飯，台北怎麼可能可以跟新加坡之類的正統地區拼呢，我們還是有自知之明的啦！但在台北要吃這道，慶城絕對是平價版中的首選哪！一道雞飯，簡單版只要台幣90，豐富版有配菜也只要115元！比百貨公司美食街還便宜！我算是海南雞飯迷，這家非常適合來台北旅行的學生或窮人追逐的美食，當然，大部分時候還是在地人吃啦！你看看！排隊這麼多人啦！
