Today I want to share with you the dish, salt crisp chicken, which is very popular in Taiwan. Many people would buy it as a main dish or simply to go with beer. Due to serious homesick, I decided to make it myself.

After surfing the Net for the recipe, I went shopping the ingredients it basically needs this afternoon and wanted to make it as today‘s dinner. In addition to main chopped chicken breast, I also want more vegetables; thus I would like to put some beans and onion to go with. Besides, I would make some French fries as well.

Hope everything will go smoothly and I can successfully make it. Okay, here we go!

英國的天氣越來越涼爽了,也越發讓我想念台灣的特色小吃—鹹酥雞!於是決定自己來做做看!請教了google大神後,到超市買了所需的材料,馬上就開始動手囉!

Salt Crisp Chicken鹹酥雞
Today’s serving is suitable for 2~3 persons
今天做的份量大約適合2~3人吃。

Ingredients 材料

Chopped chicken breast : one box
Bean : some
Onion 1/3 (sliced)
Soy sauce : 2 tbsp
Black & white Pepper : some ( 3 tsp each )
Sugar : a little ( 2 tsp )
Flour : 2 tbsp
Garlic : 5~6 cloves
Green onion : 1

French Fries 炸薯條

Potato : 2
Black & white pepper : a little (1 tsp each)
Salt : a little (1 tsp )
Ketchup or other sauce : it depends

Steps are as the pictures shown below
步驟如下

  1. Check the ingredients are all set

  1. Prepare the chopped chicken breast & sliced vegetables
    將雞肉切塊以及備妥切段蔬菜

  1. Put the soy sauce, pepper, sugar into the chicken chops and mix up.
    將醬料加入與雞肉塊拌勻

  1. Pure oil into the pot and deep fry the French fries first! Don’t forget to keep stirring for 5 minutes!
    先將薯條下油鍋炸五分鐘

  1. Take out the French fries in another pan to keep stirrings for 3 minutes. Turn off the fire and put salt & pepper to mix up with the fries. Finished!
    將薯條拿出置入另一個平底鍋接著拌炒三分鐘,熄火加入鹽巴胡椒拌勻就完成啦!

  1. Put some more oil into the pot and then put in the chopped chicken breast with flour to deep fry for 6~7 minutes.
    油炸鍋再加多些油,放入調味好的雞塊沾勻麵粉在表面後下油鍋炸六到七分鐘

  1. After step 6, pour out the oil. Put in the sliced onion and beans, and keep stirring for 2 minutes.
    將油倒出後加入洋蔥和青豆,拌炒約兩分鐘

  1. Turn off the fire. Put salt & pepper ( 2 tsp each) in and voila the salty crispy chicken chops finished.
    熄火後加入鹽巴胡椒調味,完成上菜啦!
