Fine, golden, crunchy and delicious! Try it and you'll never reach for that on the store shelf again! :)
I'm preparing for you a recipe for a perfect burger and I can't imagine that it could go to a chemical roll from the store.
That is why we start from scratch and prepare our own bread, which will be an ideal complement for such a solid portion of meat! :)
I hope that you will prepare them at home and you will feel for yourself how different they are from the rolls that they offer us in the shops.
INGREDIENTS (per 6 pieces)
- 350 g wheat flour
- 13g fresh yeast (or 3,5g dry yeast)
- 2 tbls of brown sugar (can also be normal)
- 160 ml of milk
- 35g of butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp of salt
For decorating the top:
- 1 yolk
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp black seeds
PREPARATION:
Add the yeast at room temperatur) and half a teaspoon of sugar to the bowl and grind thoroughly. Pour 100 ml of warm milk, add a teaspoon of flour and mix thoroughly. Put the bowl in a warm place and let it grow for 7-10 minutes. You can also put the bowl in the pot with hot water. In the meantime, the butter can be melted and cooled slightly.
Sift the flour into a bowl, add salt, pour the yeast liquid into it and mix gently with a spoon. Then slowly add rest of the warm milk.Add sugar and egg into the mass, mix and when the ingredients combine start to knead the dough. Pour the melted butter, combine it with the mass and pull it out onto the table to be knead. The dough will sticky at first, so you need some patience. If it is too flowing, sprinkle flour on it - you need a feeling, so it is best to knead it with your hands. After about 15 minutes, when the dough is flexible and easy detach from the hand, you can put it in a bowl, cover it with a cloth and leave it in a warm place to rise for an hour.
Put the risen dough into a table top sprinkled with flour, knead again (2-3 minutes) and divide into 6 parts. For each, form a ball, place on a large baking tray and flatten slightly with your hand. When all the balls are ready, leave them to rise again for 30 minutes.
Heat the oven to 210 Celsius degrees (up and down). Add egg yolk, milk to the bowl, mix thoroughly and brush to lubricate all buns. Sprinkle with sesame or black seeds on top and place in the oven. Wait 15-18 minutes, pull out, cool down and perfect buns for burgers are ready!
Rolls are best prepared the day before and keep in a plastic bag. They will get cool elasticity and thanks to this absorb some of the juices that will be released when we will preparing the burger.
I will post the recipe with my tips for perfect burger after the holidays, so leave me the follow to not miss it! :)
Meanwhile, I wish you all Happy Easter!
