Today's Sustainable Feast in the Garden of Eden + A Yummy GIF!

We're celebrating another gorgeous day in the Garden of Eden with another wholesome feast!

We are happy & grateful to share our abundance - there's more than enough of everything! If you or anyone you know wants or needs food, contact us - we will give you free food, no questions asked. We make this offer every single day, because we are here to help one and all.

We made a fantastic farm fresh feast for our full time volunteers in our sustainable kitchen today, with omelettes a-plenty!

Eggs were the star of the show! They are quick and easy to prepare, as well as delicious and nutritious. They are low in calories but packed with healthy cholesterol and protein, as well as vitamins and minerals.

We're thankful our chickens gift us more eggs every day! Chickens are amazing additions to permaculture designs because they eat bugs and weeds, add nutrients to the soil with their "waste", and they even provide food! Plus they are relatively easy to care for, and keeping them is a rewarding hobby. Check out this post for a little more info on keeping chickens if that is something that interests you.

Omelettes are a fun way to prepare eggs, because they can be filled with any ingredients you like!

Today, we made turkey omelettes with sautéed onions, mushrooms, and cheese.

The children preferred simple cheesy turkey omelettes, so we made them to their taste as well.

Omelettes are super easy and really fun to make!

Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food!

Food is an honored & elemental part of our daily life in community. You can learn more about our unique, intimate, and super sustainable relationship with food here!
