Hey you guys, I hope you're all doing well! I'm still on vacation in Vietnam and so sorry I can't post every day a the moment. Two of our friends from Germany came all the way to Southeast Asia to visit us, so we are spending a lot of time with them, exploring central vietnam together.
It's almost bedtime here, but I'd like to share my second entry for the #VeganBreakfastContest hosted by the talented @vegan.niinja who is celebrating being on Steemit for 2 months now. And here comes today's recipe...
HEALTHY VEGAN GRANOLA
You love something crunchy in the morning but want a healthy breakfast? Then this yummy granola recipe without processed sugar is for you. In a few simple steps you have the perfect breakfast for a perfect start into the day π
Prep time: 35 min
Portions: 2 jars
Ingredients
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 1 cup of buckwheat
- handful of sunflower seeds
- 3 tbsp of chia seeds
- 2 handfull of almond slivers
- 20 g melted coconut oil
- 1 tbsp of cinnamon
- healthy sweetener of your choice (my favorite is date syrup)
Instructions
- Lay out a tray with baking parchment.
- Wash buckwheat and put it in a bowl together with the other dry ingredients.
- Add the melted coconut oil and the date syrup and stir well.
- Evenlyplace everything on the baking tray and bake for around 20 to 40 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
