STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #4 : SALADA RUSSA (OLIVIER SALAD ADAPTATION AND PHOTOS)

Olivier salad is a traditional dish from Russia and became popular in many other countries.

In it's original recipe are used diced potatoes, vegetables, eggs, and chicken (or ham) to which mayonnaise is incorporated.

Here, in Portugal, is very popular as a cold salad, and also takes diced potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans and mayonnaise. It can be served as an appetizer or main dish when you add some tuna or other kinds of fish.

My "Salada Russa" recipe it's tremendously good, simple to prepare and warm (good for these cold days). For me, this dish works like a "reset food" for my body (in those day's I don't add mayonnaise). It's a healthy and tasty salad, and now it's on Steemit Cullinary Challenge #4.

Hope you like it as much as I do!
