Nice cake for sweet afternoons! (easy and economical version)

Greetings Dear Readers!

Hello all dear Steemianos, I have come to present to you the English version of a rich snack option.... nowadays time and money is limited (at least in my country, Venezuela) so I always seek to share with you economic and simple recipes for those days when it provokes something different.

When there are children in the house, they are always looking for snacks, I try to include my son in the culinary activities to see if this will encourage him to help me when he grows up.

My choice today is a simple and inexpensive, rich vanilla flavored cake... I will illustrate the procedure

Hands on the Job...

For this cake (small portion) we need the following

Ingredients:

1/2 cup milk
125 g butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups of leavening wheat flour
1 tsp. of Baking Powder
1 tsp. vanilla

We start by preparing the baking pan where the cake will be baked; we put enough butter on the whole surface, without missing any corner.

After we have enough butter, we add wheat flour, which, like the butter, should cover the whole container.

Let's start to put the ingredients in order, we proceed to sift the flour; with a sieve we sift the flour avoiding any lump that could spoil the mixture, as shown in the image.

Add a teaspoon of baking powder

To prepare the milk, mix two tablespoons with water and whisk; we can also use liquid milk.

We measure the sugar, placing it in the container that we will use for the mixture.

We do the same thing with the butter.

With an electric mixer beat the butter with the sugar at fast speed

Then we include the eggs, little by little without stopping beating, until the mixture looks homogeneous.

When it's all mixed up, we start including the milk..

alternating with flour

we continue beating, alternating the inclusion of flour and milk to the mixture, see the consistency in the photo

add the teaspoon of vanilla and continue mixing, at medium speed

When the mixture looks thick and full-bodied, it is ready to go to our preheated oven at 400°F,

after 35 to 40 minutes, we can test if our cake is ready, the best option is to drop a knife in the center of the cake and make sure it comes out completely clean.

Once the knife comes out clean, let the cake stand and then unmold....and ready to eat!!
Accompanied by a good cup of coffee

I particularly like to eat the hot cake, so if you want a cake to kill the craving, this is the best option, economical, quick and easy... also delicious.

Here's my son's face tasting the mixture directly from the beaters

If you want to make a larger portion, just duplicate the ingredients, you can tell me your impressions at the end of this publication.
