STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE #24 - Napoleon Dessert with lemon Cream and Fruits.

Hello my friends! Today I decided to make a delicious dessert Napoleon with lemon cream and fruit for STEEMIT CULINARY CHALLENGE.

Napoleon's dessert consists of a crispy puff pastry, soaked with a delicate lemon cream and decorated with various fruits and berries.

Recipe

Ingredients:

Puff pastry - 1 pc.

Milk - 250 ml

Yolk - 2 pcs.

Sugar - 80 g

Flour - 80 g

Lemon zest - 1 pc.

Sugar powder - 100 g

Fruits and berries - 100 g

Mint - for decoration

Preparation:

In the beginning we will prepare a limon cream for Napoleon. Whisk the yolks with sugar until lush.

In the egg mixture gradually pour warm milk with lemon zest and mix everything. Add the sifted flour and mix again.

Heat the cream on the stove and cook until thickening constantly stirring. Then cool the cream and put it in the refrigerator.

Next, get the puff pastry and roll it on the board with sprinkled flour in a thin layer. Using a ruler and a knife, divide the dough into small rectangles with a thickness of 5 mm and a height of 10 mm. Put the rectangular sheets of dough in a baking dish covered with parchment paper.

Sprinkle the dough with sugar powder.

Bake puff strips at a temperature of 180 degrees 8-10 minutes until golden brown.

Finished puff strips remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.

Put the lemon cream on the puff strips with a confectionery bag.

Make two layers of cream between the layered strips and lay a third layer of strip on top.

Bananas and oranges cut into small pieces and remove cherries from the bones.

On the top of the cakes lay out pieces of fruit and berries.

Lay mint leaves and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Napoleon cakes is a very beautiful and tasty dessert, which combines a lot of rich flavoring experiences.

Bon Appetit!
