The best cakes ever with caramel and cream (photos by @qqc)

Hi, steemitians! 👋 I wanna tell you today about the cutest pies. This recipe I found a couple years ago in my favorite show "Jamie's 30-Minute Meals Recipes," and now it's my favorite dessert. ❤️

For cooking we'll need: 🚩 puff pastry, 🚩 120 grams of sour cream, 🚩 1 orange, 🚩 sugar, 🚩 vanilla sugar, 🚩 cinnamon and 🚩 an egg.

Get out of the freezer pastry to unfreeze it, 🔥 and before cooking put the oven to heat up to 200 degrees 🌡.

Generously sprinkle with cinnamon dough and rub it with your fingers. Overturn the cinnamon side of dough down and turn to roll. 🌀 Cut into equal parts.

🏡 Puff pastry is sold in two forms here: roll and sheets. I usually take the one that seems like sheet. 1 sheet = 6 cakes. In packaging they are usually 2 sheets.

Each part flatten with your fingers and place into a cooking form.

Do not worry to do it neatly. If you've watched Jamie Oliver's show, you know, he does everything very quickly, and there is a beautiful creative mess. So here, the less accurately you'll flatten your cakes, the more interesting will be the pattern. The main thing - to mix the layers.

Put the dough, distributed by forms, into the oven for 15 minutes.⏱

In the meantime, let cooking the cream. Mix the egg and one tablespoon of sugar.

Add sour cream.

And rub the peel of an orange.

The cream is ready, 15 minutes have passed. We reach ⏱ cakes from the oven, pour the cream in the midway.

Put back into the oven for 10 minutes ⏱, and in the meantime prepare the caramel.

Take the pan, put 5 spoons of sugar and squeeze orange juice. 🍊

Cooking Caramel, be very careful. The temperature of the caramel around 170 degrees, so no games and children in the kitchen.

In general, I think that should turn out crispy caramel, but my husband likes 😏 when it is a little sticky. It will depend on how long you'll keep it on the fire. Yellow syrup darkens and forms a caramel. The main thing - to catch the right moment, when the caramel is ready. 🙌
