This green, interesting type of cabbage contains kaempferol, which prevents the development of allergies, the use of broccoli improves eyesight. A contained sulforaphane reduces the risk of many diseases.
It contains a lot of useful substances: it's magnesium, selenium, and zinc, as well as vitamins C, PP, and others. It contains dietary fiber, saccharides, and biologically active substances that help support the body healthy.
I advise you not to subject broccoli to long-term heat treatment, it is better to eat raw, as one of the ingredients for vegetable salads. As a dressing, use olive oil, lemon juice or soy sauce.
This vegetable is a dietary product (only 27 kcal.) And is useful at any age, physicians even recommend to include broccoli in the diet of children from 7 months of age.
Vitamin cocktail of broccoli
For cooking, you will need:
- 7 inflorescences of broccoli
- 2 apples
- 2 carrots
- mint or coriander of your choice
- Remove the core and seeds from the apples.
- Grind the broccoli in a blender.
- On the juicer, make juice from apples and carrots.
- Pour the juice into broccoli puree, mix.
- Pour over the glasses.
