I'm so excited about this challenge.
It was very hard for me to decide what dessert I would die for...is it chocolate? Is it ice cream? Is it eclair?
Well, the winner is this delicious POMEGRANATE CHOCOLATE TART
Trust me: it's full of yummy surprises. The chocolate density and pomegranate freshness are completing each other.
YOUR TASTE BUDS WILL BE DELIGHTED!
So, here is the recipe.
First preheat the oven at 180°/mark 2.
Ingredients
CRUST
1 egg
150 gr butter (80% fat) The butter should be at room temperature.
300 gr flour
3 tbs sugar
3 tbs raw cocoa
1 pinch of salt
4 tbs milk
Mix together the ingredients for the PASTRY CRUST.
Roll out the pastry and use to line a 23 cm tart tin. Chill in the fridge or freezer for at least 15 mins.
After, prick the base with a fork, and line with baking parchment and baking beans. Bake blind for 15 mins, then remove the beans and parchment.
Bake for another 7 mins.
Leave it to cool.
BLACK FILLING
200 ml heavy cream
100 gr sugar
2 tbs rum
50 gr cocoa
50 gr butter
3 tbs starch
1 pomegranate
50 gr cajun
Heat the heavy cream with sugar. Then, add the other ingredients and mix well.
When the pastry crust is ready, add the filling, the pomegranate and cajun.
And yes, it's soooooo amazing in its richness!!
Enjoy!
