Pakbet

Pakbet is one of the best Ilocano dish. I learned how to cook this Ilocano recipe from my loving mom. And now its my turn to teach you on how to cook this healthy and delicious food of ours.

Here are the Ingredients:

•10 pcs. Sliced ampalaya (bitter melon)

• 10 pcs. Sliced Tomato

• lechon kawali (deep fried pork belly)
• garlic

• fish sauce

• and a 1 tablespoon of cooking oil

And heres the secret on how to cook. Cook it with love, here are the steps.

Step 1

Heat the frying pan, then sautee garlic with lechon kawali to 1 table spoon of oil

Step 2

When garlic turns to golden brown, place 4 spoonful of fish sauce, then your sliced potato

Step 3

Next, place your bitter melon.

Step 4

Add a 1/4 cup of water then cover the pan, let it boil for 15 mins with low to moderate fire.

Finally it is ready to serve😋😋!!!
