Daily Forex #34 - The Superstar Trader!

A few days ago I shared about how I accidentally stumbled on Forex and made a career out of it. To read that blog post, you can go HERE.

Yesterday, I talked about how I made about $8,000 a month from my first 2 months of trading Forex. I had also planned out a daily schedule where I committed a few hours a day to my day job and the rest of the day to trading.

After 2 months, I was feeling very confident about my trading abilities and there were some days where I entered a trade and went out for meetings with clients. I would rush back to my hotel after the meetings and check the charts on my laptop. I had some losses but overall I was still very profitable every week. I quickly figured that you can't win everyday but as long as every week I was making about $2,000, it was a great week!

I didn't tell any of my colleagues what I was doing in my hotel room every night. They started to notice that I rarely went out with them for drinks at a club or a late night supper after that. Every time they asked me out, I would give some excuse about having to stay in the room to do some work. I didn't tell them I was making an extra few thousand dollars every week. They didn't suspect anything and figured that I was lazy to go out and just wanted to play video games in the room.

I finally did go out one night with them as it was one of our colleague's birthday. We hit the clubs (4 of us) and that night I partied like a ROCK STAR! I paid for the bottles which were relatively cheap, about 1500 baht for a bottle of whiskey, that's about $50. I bought round after round of shots and we invited some ladies who were sitting near our table to come over and join us.

The waiter who was assigned to our table was really busy that night pouring drinks and getting us more shots. We started with 4 of us at the table but by the end of the night there were probably another 10 ladies with us just for the drinks. Everyone was drunk and hands were all over the place. I was getting the most attention as I had paid the bill each time it came. All in, I spent about $1,000 that night and it felt AWESOME! Ladies were pushing each other just to hug me and a few of them asked if they could spend the night with me. WHAT?!

Let's be honest here, I know I am not the best looking guy out there. I was presentable looking but I knew people will not take a second look at me if I was walking down the street. You know, when you are at a shopping mall, sometimes you see somebody and you just instinctively turn your head and look at them again. And you wonder if he or she is a model or some movie star. Someone way out of your league. Yea, I wasn't that guy. But that night, I felt like THAT GUY.

At that moment, I knew that my life will be different. And it was because of Forex. It was so simple. All I had to do was click a few buttons and the money would just flow into my bank account. I was beginning to have dreams of buying a penthouse and driving a Ferrari. I felt unstoppable. I felt powerful. I felt like I was on top of the world.
