A Rather Inane effort which made me chortle.
I give you 'Corn'.
Feeling a tad meh I decided to do a mercy dash to the local supermarket in the hope of raising my mood from mouldy to just peachy.
Celery was on offer at only 39p, a saving of 40p – this made me smile inwardly!
Fibrous green stalks tucked deftly under arm I sped to Charcuterie where I bagged a shrink-wrapped package of 6 Polish Kabanos.
Hotly followed by a cheeky bottle of Merlot for my man.
And a pack of Toffee popcorn.
As I paid the checkout chap I felt far more chipper.
