Mighty Carl's Story~

The Mighty Carl, as he was known to all but himself, stood alone in his empty forest feeling very down after all these years alone.

He has been so good at disguising himself that no one had eaten him yet!

Unfortunately, that meant he lived in a lonely world always on the run from creatures that wanted to taste him.

He tried dancing to make himself feel better but to no avail. He then went to have a think about what could make his life better.

As Carl was thinking, a stunning, tall, pale yellow creature found him sitting all alone. She came up to him and chatted a bit. I don't know if I can tell you the rest!

Poor Carl never stood a chance!

She showed off her silk tuffs and revealed her neat rows of pale yellow kernels and Carl just swooned for it all.

Little did Carl know that his reputation for being such a great survivalist had spread far and wide. Queen Corn, of the Lava Fields, wanted him for a mate to keep her and the children she would have safe.

Carl really didn't mind. He was just so happy not being alone for a change. He picked up his belongings and followed her to the lava fields.
