This is my entry for #fruitsandveggiesmonday by @lenasveganliving
Last week I bought some plants for our new garden.
Some Brussels sprouts, 20pc
Some cauliflowers, 10pc
And some broccoli, also 10 pc
Here is how the garden looked last week when I removed weeds and added compost
And this was last Friday. I mixed the compost with the soil
Here I removed some more weeds
And here I added some more compost
You can clearly see where the soil is mixed in and where it's not mixed in yet
This was Saturday. We started with the fence and planted the veggies. We only finished the longer sides of the fence and left the smaller parts open for the night, so on Sunday we could finish it, after putting compost on the last part of the garden.
On the right we planted the cauliflowers and next to it the Brussels sprouts
Next to the sprouts are the broccoli plants and next to them are some strawberry plants a woman gave us from another garden
The strawberry plants are waiting in line to be put on the spot 😁
And on Sunday we finished the composting and fence. We also planted some herbs in between the veggies. Some help as natural pesticides.
Some oregano and hyssop on the left and some thyme and sage between the Brussels sprouts
And some rosemary next to the broccoli
Next to the strawberry plants are some tomato plants and some pepper plants that I had at my apartment
Fence finished and compost on the land! That was yesterday!
Today we will go back to see if we can do some more stuff.
