My Dearest Steemit Foodies,

Welcome to our 10th week of the FRUITS AND VEGGIES MONDAY COMPETITION. I think we have a reason to celebrate a little and I am saying little because 10 is a round number so let’s PARTY!!! Although, we have a party every week since all of you always bring lots of goodies to the table. I can’t wait to see what you prepared for me this time.

And since we are celebrating, I would like to take the liberty to thank our HONORABLE GUEST JUDGES and 1st PRIZE WINNERS in the past four weeks. BIG APPLAUSE PLEASE to these fabulous and talented ladies @dswigle, @creativewoman, @woman-onthe-wing and @pusteblume. They did a wonderful job and they helped me enormously. I really appreciate their work and look forward to more HONORABLE GUEST JUDGES like them in the future.

And now, I would like to make an official big announcement for FRUITS AND VEGGIES TRADITION that will be effective immediately.

I am sure you are waiting anxiously to find out what it is, so, I will not keep you in suspense any longer.

This tradition is something that I have thought long and hard about. It is difficult for me to engage a different judge weekly and this seems like a very amenable way to solve this. I hope that there is 100% participation on this front. I like to think of it as an honor that goes with the 1st prize.

At this time an extra thanks goes to @dswigle for taking the role of HONORABLE GUEST JUDGE for the second time, since things didn't work out as I was hoping for and I had no judge for this week. Denise is a very special lady and friend who is constantly there for me, even though she has a very busy schedule and she is not always able to participate in this contest. However, I have her support every time I need it. She is also the creator of the NEW FRUITS AND VEGGIES MONDAY TRADITION I mention earlier. So please BIG STANDING OVATIONS to our HONORABLE GUEST JUDGE and wonderful lady @dswigle.
