[Fiftywords] Decades

Hi everyone!
Welcome to another story by me for #fiftywords challenge, maintained by @jayna. This week's prompt is "Ghost." It was hard to come with an idea (I came up with many but ended up canceling most of them.)

So this story is the idea that stuck with me.

Decades

He knew they were there, but couldn't see them.

He thought: "There must be a way."
To make his invention, he didn't take just a few years. It took decades of hard work and study.

He smiled as he scratched the baldness of his head.
Now, he can see ghosts.

So, did you like the story?

It took one sitting to write, but before writing it I spent the whole week thinking what to write about. At first I thought of writing a story with the protagonist being a ghost but couldn't fit that story in 50 or even 100 words.

I hope the result was good.
