From the first game, Dishonored has become a great game if pulling out awesome assassination move swiftly is what you wanted. Teleportation and time manipulation are my favourite superpowers in video games and any fictional works, but I never expected if those two works so beautiful. There are plenty of Dishonored gameplay videos on YouTube from players showing their sick assassination skills whether it's stealthy low chaos or brutal high chaos.
The game's developer, Arkane Studios, shared a 10 minute long video from one of their favourite content creators called StealthGamerBR showing how he play as Billie Lurk in Dishonored: Death of the Outsider working his way out of Karnaca with the new supernatural powers and gadgets in Billie's disposal. And this guy is really good at it, good enough to be Arkane Studios' favourite content creator. Check out StealthGamerBR nicely executed actions in the video below.
That new power, Displace is Billie's version of Emily's Doppleganger that allow Billie to place a shadowy doppleganger to swap places for escape or perfectly timed kill, it makes Billie's actions looks much more smooth. A teleporting assassin with the power straight from the void itself? Now that's deadly. That's right, Billie don't need mana potion like Corvo did because her right arm and eye have been replaced with void artifacts.
The time manipulation here is like Corvo's Stop Time combined with Corvo's and Emily's Dark Vision. It stops the time and allows Billie to observe the area while planning the next move and marking the next targets. But non-void tricks as simple as playing with bottle with the guard could prove to be quite awesome and deadly too if done nicely.
With her new abilities and gadgets that you can see in the video, looks like Billie is ready to face the Outsider. So are you ready to execute some stylish assassination moves with more different skills?
