Blood is one of the most popular old school FPS franchises, before Blood 2 there was Blood, game that looked like all of good old school games like Duke Nukem 3D and Doom. Blood as the name would suggest was the bloodiest of them all with main protagonist being all around bad ass named Caleb. Blood 2 however made that technological leap with 3D graphics, so without Voodoo 3 or Riva TNT 2 you would have a tough time playing this game at the time. Game is filled with dark humor and there are so many brutal scenes like from some horror movie.
Old school FPS games had massive numbers of different weapons with alternative firing mode, this game had 17 weapons all together and some of those are dual wielded. Chaos is expected from all that firepower and game will throw at us so many numbers of monsters and armored soldiers. Unlike the first game that was played in early 20st, this one is played in the near future, so there are some high tech weapons available, as well as some magic from the first Blood game. Caleb is a force to be reckoned with in this great and very fun FPS from 1998 made by Monolith Productions.
